A lot of butterflies have iridescent patterns on their wings but the Forest Mother-Of-Pearl probably has the most contrasting. In certain light they have a silver colouring and in other they have a lovely pink hue to them. Very difficult to capture this in photography - you really have to see it in person.

A beautiful Forest Mother-Of-Pearl butterfly in a handmade wooden frame, mounted on high quality ivory card. The scientific and common names are printed beneath the butterfly, and a small information sticker can be found on the back of the frame.
