This creepy crawly is known for the impressive webs it weaves. The genus name Nephila is derived from Ancient Greek, meaning "fond of spinning". The webs can reach up to 1.5m (5ft) in diameter and the females are much larger than males in size.

A stunning Giant Golden Orb Weaver in a handmade wooden frame, mounted on high quality ivory card. The scientific and common names are printed beneath the spider, and a small information sticker can be found on the back of the frame.
